David studied at Burnley Horticultural College and Oakleigh School of Horticulture and has held positions as such as, The Landscape coordinator for Melbourne University. and The Park Curator for Heidi Park and Art Gallery. David has received numerous awards and earned much recognition since founding his own landscape design business in 1982. He was also as serving Vice President of the Victorian Landscape Industries Association.

1994 - Best Use of Water in the Landscape.
1994 - Highly Commended for two landscape projects.
1999 - Best landscape design for a residential property.
1999 - Best use of Water in the Landscape.
1999 - Australian Achiever Awards - High Commendation.
